We do not publish prices, because they depend on the litter, the colour line and whether the puppy is going to a family or into breeding. Please write to us with an enquiry and we will reply with full details. Our price always includes the pedigree of the Slovenian Kennel Club, microchipping, age-appropriate vaccinations, worming and a veterinary check before leaving.

The Biewer terrier is an independent breed that arose from the terrier and has its own standard and its own studbook. Its most distinctive feature is the tricolour coat combining white, black and golden brown. In temperament it is considered calmer and more sociable. The American Kennel Club granted it full recognition in 2021, while the FCI does not yet recognise it, so in Slovenia it is entered in a special register.

Not the way most breeds do. The terrier and the Biewer terrier have a coat without an undercoat that grows continuously, much like human hair. That is why you will not find tufts of hair around the house. It does not mean the coat is carefree: it needs regular brushing, or it mats, and occasional trimming.

No dog can be described as completely safe for allergy sufferers. Because the terrier has no undercoat and does not shed, many people with mild allergies tolerate it better. But allergies are caused mainly by a protein in saliva and skin, not by the hair itself. We therefore always advise meeting a dog of the breed in person before deciding.

Our puppies leave at eight weeks at the earliest, and often several weeks later. Until then, with their mother and littermates, they learn what no human can teach them: bite inhibition, canine body language and calm behaviour in a group. Leaving too early leaves marks on behaviour, so this is not something we bend.

An adult terrier from our kennel usually weighs between two and three kilograms and stands around twenty to twenty-three centimetres at the withers. The Biewer terrier is often somewhat larger. An exact adult weight cannot be guaranteed in advance; we give an approximate estimate based on the parents and on growth in the first weeks.

Colour in itself brings no illness, as long as breeding is responsible. What matters is that colour lines are not mated within a family and that the gene pool is widened with outside stud dogs. That is exactly why we look for stud dogs abroad. In toy breeds, problems with knees, teeth and low blood sugar in youth are more common, so we choose parents with stable health.

Yes. All our puppies receive a pedigree from the Slovenian Kennel Club. A pedigree is not decoration; it is proof of ancestry and of breeding under supervision. For the Biewer terrier it is an entry in a special register, because the FCI does not yet recognise the breed.

In the first weeks we do not allow visits inside the apartment, because the peace of the mother and the newborns comes first. We do have a separate entrance, so you can see the puppies through a window without stepping inside. Once the little ones have grown and been vaccinated, we arrange a personal visit.
